How much fundraising is involved?

ARCS priority is to deliver an exceptional program for adults in a recreational choir setting.  Additional funding sources include:

  • Event and performance revenue
  • Sponsorship
  • Corporate gifts
  • Silent Auction
  • Friends of ARC contributions
  • Casino

Fundraising is not a mandatory component of membership in ARCS.  We do appreciate greatly the contributions of so many of our members, however, in providing strong support to ARCS programs and helping to make them a success.

What does my registration fee pay for?

Your registration fee covers your program costs (instruction, facility rental, demo recording, accompanist, administration) and music for the season.  In Up2Something and She's Up2Something, members can expect to spend approximately $100 in addition to the registration fee for costuming.

Up2Something members are encouraged to participate in an annual retreat that takes place in November in Canmore.  This Friday - Sunday weekend features a guest clinician, intensive rehearsal and lots of fun and fellowship.
